Mobile Apps
We build apps for both platforms from one codebase with React Native and Expo, adding native modules in Swift and Kotlin where needed. Notifications, sign-in, payments and offline use are built to match your design system, and App Store and Google Play release is part of the process.
What this service covers.
These items are planned together or separately depending on the project. We clarify which ones you need during the discovery call.
- Single codebase for iOS and Android
- Notifications, deep links and offline use
- Email, social and biometric sign-in
- Payment integration (Stripe, iyzico, Apple Pay, Google Pay)
- App Store and Google Play release
- Usage analytics and crash reporting
Mobile app development: what we build
Most businesses that come to us for mobile app development need one of a few things: an app where customers order or book, a loyalty and promotions app, an internal app for field teams, or a mobile version of an existing web product. In each case we plan the screens, the user flows and the backend the app talks to together with you, and deliver the app ready for release on the App Store and Google Play.
What an app offers over a website is access to the phone itself. We add push notifications, camera and QR scanning, location, Face ID and fingerprint sign-in, and Apple Pay or Google Pay checkout as far as your business actually needs them. For places with poor connectivity we design offline behaviour from the start: data is kept on the device and synced with the server once the connection comes back.
Why React Native and Expo?
Writing separate apps for iOS and Android means two codebases, two test cycles and double the work on every update. With React Native we ship both platforms from one codebase while still rendering native interface components on each. Expo simplifies building, signing and store submission, and its over-the-air updates let small fixes reach users without waiting for another store review.
One codebase does not mean everything is shared. When a project needs a platform-specific hardware feature, a Bluetooth device or an SDK without React Native support, we write native modules in Swift and Kotlin and wire them into the app. For the rare project built around heavy 3D graphics or intensive computation, we will tell you at the start if fully native development is the better choice.
Performance, security and store approval
Users judge an app in its first few seconds. To keep startup fast we trim unused packages, virtualise long lists, cache images and run animations without blocking the interface. We test on mid-range and budget Android phones, not only the latest flagships. After launch, crash reporting and usage analytics show us how the app behaves in real hands, so issues get fixed based on data.
Session tokens are kept in the device's secure storage, card details are never stored in the app, and payments go through the secure components provided by Stripe or iyzico. We keep Apple's and Google's review guidelines in mind throughout development. Missing privacy labels, permission explanations, in-app account deletion or digital goods rules are common reasons for rejection, so we prepare them from the beginning.
From idea to the app stores
We start by pinning down scope and designing the screens in Figma, then confirm the flows with you on a clickable prototype before writing code. During development you get a new test build on your phone every week through TestFlight and Google Play internal testing, and your feedback goes into the next build. Depending on scope, the whole process from design to store release usually takes 4-10 weeks.
We handle the release steps with you, from screenshots and store listings to the review process. The app is published under your own developer accounts and you receive the source code. After launch you can continue on a monthly maintenance plan covering new iOS and Android versions, library updates and new features. Having the same team build the API and admin panel behind the app keeps responsibility in one place.
Frequently asked questions, answered briefly.
Usually 4-10 weeks, depending on scope. Apps with a few screens that connect to an existing backend sit at the start of that range; apps with accounts, payments, notifications and an admin panel sit at the end. Store review time is included in the schedule.
No. With React Native and Expo we ship both platforms from a single codebase, so development and maintenance work is not doubled. If a platform-specific native module is needed, we list its scope and effect on the timeline separately in the quote.
The app is published under your own Apple Developer and Google Play Console accounts, so the store listing, reviews and revenue belong to you. We help you set up the accounts and fill in the required details, and we hand over the app's source code.
Yes. We build the API and database the app needs for user accounts, orders, push notifications and an admin panel. If you already have a system, we connect the app to it and add any missing endpoints.
Every project includes a period of free post-launch support. After that, a monthly maintenance plan covers compatibility with new iOS and Android versions, library updates, bug fixes and new features. Small fixes can reach users through over-the-air updates without a new store review.
