Legal information and terms.

The legal texts that govern how F-Development and the users of this site work together. Questions: [email protected]

Privacy

Privacy Policy

In short: we collect only what you send us, use it only to reply to you, and do not sell it or use it for advertising.

1. Who we are

This policy explains how we handle your personal data when you visit fdevelopment.net and when you contact us. F-Development is responsible for your data.

  • Address: 170 University Ave, Toronto, ON M5H 3B3, Canada
  • Email: [email protected]
  • You can send any privacy request to this address.

2. What we collect

  • Project request form: your name, email address, optionally your Discord username or phone number, the services you picked, your budget and timing preference, your message and the site language.
  • Quick message window: your message, the contact detail you leave and the address of the page you sent it from.
  • Technical data: when you submit a form, your IP address is held in memory for up to one minute to prevent abuse and is not stored. The network provider in front of our site also processes your IP address and browser details for security.
  • Visit statistics: aggregate data such as page views, referring site, browser type and country, collected with Umami running on our own server. It uses no cookies and does not identify you personally.

We do not ask for ID numbers, payment details or special categories of data such as health information. Please do not enter them in our forms.

3. Why we process it and on what legal basis

  • To assess your request, reply to you and prepare a proposal: steps needed before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in answering your enquiry.
  • To keep the site secure and prevent abuse: our legitimate interest.
  • To measure, in aggregate, how the site is used: our legitimate interest.
  • To meet our legal obligations: legal obligation.

We do not add your details to marketing lists, sell them or use them for advertising.

4. Who we share it with

We share your data only with the providers below, and only as far as needed to deliver the service:

  • Resend (USA): delivery of form notifications and of the confirmation email sent to you.
  • Discord (USA): delivery of your request to our team as an instant notification.
  • Cloudflare (worldwide): delivery of the site and protection against attacks.
  • Our hosting provider (Türkiye): the server that runs the site and the statistics tool.

Beyond these, we disclose your data to authorities only when the law requires it.

5. Third-party content

Some pages embed content from other companies. This content loads only when you ask for it. Once it loads, the company can see your IP address and may use its own cookies:

  • The map on the About page: Google Maps, loaded when you press "Show map".
  • Videos on the F Core page: YouTube, loaded when you play a video, in the privacy-enhanced mode that limits cookie use. Video cover images are fetched from YouTube when the page opens.

Processing by these companies is governed by their own privacy policies.

6. International transfers

Some of the providers above are located outside Türkiye, Canada and the European Economic Area, so your data may be processed on servers in those countries. We rely on the contractual safeguards the providers offer and transfer only what is necessary.

7. How long we keep it

  • Project requests and correspondence: up to 24 months after the last message. If you become a client, for the duration of the contract and the legal retention periods.
  • IP address (form protection): up to one minute, in memory only.
  • Visit statistics: as aggregate data that cannot be linked to a person.
  • The form draft in your browser: until you send the request or clear your browser data, on your device only.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live (KVKK in Türkiye, GDPR in Europe, PIPEDA in Canada) you have the right to:

  • Know whether we process data about you and receive a copy of it.
  • Have incomplete or inaccurate data corrected.
  • Have your data deleted.
  • Object to processing or ask us to restrict it.
  • Receive your data in a format you can pass to another provider.

Writing to [email protected] is enough. We reply free of charge within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our reply, you can complain to the data protection authority of your country (the Personal Data Protection Authority in Türkiye, the Office of the Privacy Commissioner in Canada).

9. Security

The site runs only over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Only authorised people on our team can access your requests. No system is entirely free of risk. If a data breach occurs, we notify the people affected and the relevant authority within the legal time limits.

10. Children

Our services are aimed at businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

11. Changes

When we update this policy we change the date at the top of the page. We also announce significant changes on the site.

Terms

Terms of Use

These terms govern the use of the fdevelopment.net website. By using the site you accept them.

1. Scope

These terms cover the use of the site only. Projects you carry out with us are governed by a separate written agreement. If these terms and that agreement differ, the agreement prevails.

2. Information on the site

Content on the site is general information and not a binding offer. Price, scope and timeline become binding only through the written proposal we send you after a call. We try to keep the content current but do not guarantee that it is complete or free of errors.

3. Intellectual property

  • The text, images, design and code on the site belong to F-Development. They may not be copied, reproduced or republished without our written permission.
  • Rights to the work we produce for clients are transferred to the client as set out in the relevant project agreement.
  • Product and brand names mentioned on the site belong to their respective owners. F-Development is not affiliated with or endorsed by those companies.

4. Acceptable use

When using the site you agree not to:

  • Try to disrupt the site or get around its security measures.
  • Use the forms for spam, misleading information or someone else's details.
  • Crawl the site with automated tools in a way that creates excessive load.

5. External links

The site contains links to and embedded content from other sites. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

6. Limitation of liability

The site is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from the use of the site or the inability to use it. This clause does not affect rights the law gives consumers that cannot be waived by contract.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada. The courts of Toronto have jurisdiction over disputes. Mandatory consumer rights granted by your country of residence are reserved.

8. Changes and contact

We may update these terms. The current text is always on this page and the date at the top shows the last change. Questions: [email protected]

Cookies

Cookie Policy

In short: we use no advertising or tracking cookies. Only a few records needed for the site to work are kept.

1. Records our site keeps

  • NEXT_LOCALE (cookie): remembers the language you chose. It is deleted when you close the browser.
  • Theme preference (browser storage): your light or dark theme choice.
  • Form draft (browser storage): what you typed into the project request form. It is deleted when you send the request and never leaves your device.

These records are needed for the site to work the way you set it and are not used to identify you.

2. Visit statistics

For statistics we use Umami running on our own server. It uses no cookies, leaves nothing on your device and does not track you across sites.

3. Third-party content

  • Map: the Google Map on the About page loads only when you press "Show map". From then on Google may use its own cookies.
  • Videos: YouTube videos on the F Core page load only when you choose to play them, in the privacy-enhanced mode that limits cookie use.

4. Why there is no consent banner

When you open the site only the essential records above are used. Third-party content does not load unless you ask for it, so a separate cookie consent is not needed.

5. How to delete the records

You can delete or block cookies and site data at any time in your browser settings. Your language and theme preference and your form draft will then be reset.
